Harbour Terms

1. Who keeps the harbour

These are the terms for using pilchardquay.com (“Pilchard Quay”, “we”, “us”), which is run by the operator of pilchardquay.com. If you use the site, you accept them.

2. Who may come down the quay steps

Pilchard Quay is only for users aged 18 or over; using it confirms you are 18 or over.

3. Harbour coins

Every water is played with virtual coins given out free.
A harbour coin has no worth in money, and is neither cash, nor credit, nor property.
Coins cannot be purchased, sold, withdrawn, transferred or traded for money, goods, services or prizes, and nothing is sold in-app on the quay.
The harbour office puts up no prize with real-world value.
Coins, levels and features can be altered or reset by the harbour office whenever it sees fit.

4. No real money crosses the quay

Pilchard Quay neither runs nor promotes real-money gambling, and links to no gambling operator from anywhere on the quay.

5. Your berth in the harbour book

The two waters beyond the open one, Silverdawn Crates and Redwheel Reach, call for a free account. One berth per person, and never lend yours out.
Your password stays with you. If anyone else gets into your account, let the harbour office know at once.
Strike your account out from your account page whenever you wish; it is gone at once and there is no undoing it.
Accounts used to disrupt the site, or believed to belong to someone under 18, may be suspended by the harbour office.
Coins, levels and missions are entered against the account, are not yours to own, and may be reset.

6. Conduct on the quay

Do not disrupt the site or aim automated tools at it, do not offer coins in trade, and never let anyone under 18 aboard.

7. Storms, outages and liability

The site comes to you “as is”, and the harbour office may change or withdraw any part of it. A malfunction voids all plays and pays. No liability that the law says cannot be limited is limited by these terms, and your statutory rights stay where they are.

8. The law the harbour keeps to

The harbour terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
